We built the game we always wanted to play

It started at a game night in 2024. We were playing a classic economic strategy game and someone said, half-joking, 'this would be so much better with Bitcoin mechanics.' The table went quiet. Then everyone started talking at once.

We spent the next six months prototyping. The first version was terrible — too complex, too slow, too punishing. But the core idea was right: a game where the Halving actually matters, where holding BTC is a real strategic choice, where Fiat Collapse is a card that makes the whole table groan.

After dozens of playtests and hundreds of hours of iteration, Bitcoin Booom became what it is today: a 60–90 minute economic strategy game for 2–6 players that teaches real Bitcoin economics while being genuinely, deeply fun.
